AVID Family,

We've been having technical difficulties with this blog site this trip. So, Robin Stone is emailing families every night with student experiences and writing from each day. We are also sharing a link to pictures. Please click here, we will be uploading all pictures from the trip to this link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/zYQb9N5julqUle1t1

Please email or call Robin or I if you aren't getting the nightly emails from Robin!

Thank you! We are having a fantastic trip! We've seen many starfish, crabs, and we even saw a few porpoise from the ferry. Your kids are doing a wonderful job of working hard and being great representatives of Angevine and Lafayette. We are so happy to be here with them!

Hi from San Juan Island!

Hi AVID Families!

We have had a fun and full day, and we are finally on San Juan Island. Students are working diligently right now on their journals and binders for the day, along with cooking dinner as the sunsets. We will have students share their thoughts on our Boeing tour, the ferry ride to San Juan Island, and how travel has been so far, but it will be posted tomorrow along with their experience in the tide pools. For now, here are some pictures to hold you over until we can get more info up tomorrow!

Our students have done a fabulous job so far, all working hard and staying focused. We're so proud and excited for a week of adventure on San Juan Island.

Best,
Trip Chaperones- Liz Barcheck, Robin Stone, Bryan Graham, Cameo DeDominces, and Al DeDominces

My Most Important Thing

My most important thing this year, unfortunately, is my computer. I have to check-in to my online graduate class while we're away (sad face).

Bonus important thing: my sun hat. Cause it's gonna be sunny on that water with all the starfish!

Something Important

Something important that I will bring is a camera.

Something important that I am bringing to The San Juan Islands is a camera.
